President of the executive committee of the Orcom group, Michel Martin is the founding associate of the company. After initial audit experience in two Anglo-Saxon companies based in Paris, where he developed his organisational qualities, Michel Martin wished to return to his home town of Orléans to practice his profession. Almost thirty years after settling in the regional capital, his motivation for development is still intact. Today in charge of a company with 273 employees, Michel Martin is an expert in special legal frameworks, particularly for transfers and fixed assets, industry, construction and transport, local government, and the health and social sector. Within the Orcom group, he is also responsible for business development, products and services, working methods and legal and social services. As he demands that his staff are “financial agents in the fullest possible sense, integrating local government like a business”, Michel Martin also commits his own time as an assistant to the Mayor of Orléans in charge of finance, Vice President of the agglomeration of Orléans and President of the board of trustees of the Orléans basketball club. All of these roles have led this director to develop a great capacity for listening, a quality he also used for around ten year at the Loiret young chamber of economics. This rich depth of experience is what Michel Martin wishes to communicate to inspire young people.
